13.4% drop seen in median home price by '08
"Tucson's median housing price is projected to drop by more than 13 percent by the second quarter of 2008, according to a forecast by Moody's Economy.com.
"The forecast by Moody's Economy.com, a private research firm, presents one of the starkest views yet of the housing slowdown that has been gathering force in recent months" according to the Arizona Daily Star.
"Tucson will see the eighth-largest price decline, of 13.4 percent, out of 133 metropolitan areas included in the study. According to the survey, Tucson reached its peak in the first quarter of this year and will bottom out in second-quarter of 2008."
